Matthew Peschong - Founder
Matthew Peschong founded Mankato Web Design out of necessity of all things. He moved from Brooklyn Park, MN to Mankato, MN in 2005 for college at Mankato State University. When he first arrived he decided it would be best to look for a job. He went to a telemarketing place because he thought it would be a good way to gain experience in sales. It turned out to be a life-changing event. During the interview, the shift manager of the business asked him his hobbies.
When "web design" came up the shift manager was excited because he wanted to start a website on the side. After working at the telemarketing place for 3 months and providing web design service for the shift manager, Matthew started getting a request through referrals from local business owners. Matt quit his job at the telemarketing place and setup shop in his college dorm with a laptop, unlimited minutes on his cell phone, and an internet connection.
By servicing clients to his full potential and their full satisfaction, Matt has expanded his business to a scope of over 200 clients. With help of Jay Rowan, Matt has been able to put together a productive and reputable client base. In his free-time Matt enjoys, well, putting together more websites. He's owned several e-commerce websites on the side which he has sold to competitors.
Jay Rowan - Web Designer
Jay is a passionate web designer with an eye for creative design and web based technologies. He has had experience working with high profile academic establishments based in the UK and has recently worked on the new Minnesota District Court web design whilst working with us. His designs reflect the new age of web design which follow the latest accessibility rules and create simple, accessible yet attractive website designs for clients.
He has worked with over 100 clients both in the USA and abroad, and has an extensive web design portfolio ranging from lawyer websites to food catering websites. Jay focuses on modern, professional and attractive website design.
In his spare time (when not designing) Jay likes to play soccer and watch his favourite team Liverpool FC.
